The Analogue to Digital Switch refers to the replacement of traditional copper-based phone networks (analogue systems) with modern, internet-based solutions (digital systems). By 2027 (previously 2025), most telecom providers in the UK, including providers like BT and TalkTalk, will retire traditional landline services and transition to fully digital phone systems like VoIP.
